Godings have been a long-term client of ours for SEO, focusing on only one aspect of their business which was mainly focusing on getting exposure for certain products.
In 2015, Godings split from their parent company, Norwood and consolidated their franchises into one branch based at Rockbank, Victoria – under new management.
It was important to the new owners that they:
- Positioned themselves ahead of their competitors online
- Continued to offer the same high standard customer service that they are known for, and;
- Dedicated resources to build up all aspects of their business, not just the one the previous owners had been
When we consulted with the new owners of Godings, it was clear they had a vision on what they wanted to achieve for their business.
With this in mind, our focus, first and foremost, was to design a more user friendly, comprehensive website where visitors could quickly and easily view their range of agricultural and groundscare equipment in a more interactive way – especially as many of their website visitors use their mobile phones to access the site.
In addition to their new website, we developed a digital marketing strategy that consisted of Google Adwords and SEO. We paired this with a radio campaign, however that was only to generate interest in the short term.
In less than 24 months, Godings business grew from generating $4 million in revenue to over $10 million in annual revenue.
